Research into The Rolling Stone

Unlike the other two magazines I have looked in to, Rolling Stone is a US based magazine whcih focuses on music, but other popular cultures. The magazine was founded in 1967 and since then politicial coverage has also been a part of the magazines features, and even today it is a big part of the magzines appeal to the varied target auidence.

The main music genre of the magaizne is rock and roll, as the title does relfect the music genre of the group called The Rolling Stones. However in recent years the genre of music included has become more varied including 'pop' like artisits.The target audience is worldwide and has a large demographic of a slightly older age group of 15-25 years.
